Damn the Indian curry man! Received this number just now and I asked the curry man who's it and what's it for. The curry man in his strong curry accent, saying ... Hello ma'am, it's about the business and I was waiting for more details, he hung off. What a life waster!

SCAM, probably. Called them back after googling and it just says "welcome to Expert Developers, press 1 to get through to an agent". Considering how dumb a name "Expert Developers" is, it's almost def a scam.

I think this was a scam call saying he ("Charle" sic) was from Virgin Media and that he was going to cut off my internet for 30 days

Very strange phone call from this number. I am very suspicious. Proceed with caution.

Message saying computer locked down for security as has been accessed by unauthorized person and call this number. Computer did lock down. Called number supposedly Microsoft Security, AVG security suit stopped attempt to login to infected website, (thought I was savvy enough to see the scams but nearly fell for it, thank goodness for AVG). Closed down ran full scan across whole of system, all clear system restart.

Scam callers pretending to be Amazon Prime

SCAM claimed to be calling from O2. Hung up immediately knowing they were not legit. Instantly got texts from 'O2 UK' sending a OTP which I never requested. Noted that previous texts were from 'O2UK' (no space).

Scam caller, who hurled foul mouthed abuse at him when I questioned where he was calling from and gobbledeegook he was spouting out at me. SCUM

SCAM 2 calls in an hour from the code 004721(Oslo) and no message left, says SCAM to me.

Scam. Said they were from sky and I may have offers, tried to get me to have fibre broadband. I stupidly gave my address, email etc. Just contacted sky & it appears that it’s not one of their numbers. There’s a recording if you ring the number back that does say it’s a recording on behalf of sky. Just be careful not to give any details.

Another number for the Domestic Appliance Insurance scam. Asian man, Alan this time, needing to verify details so he can send me the paperwork. He obviously didn't have any details as he asked for 'lady of the house's and when I said I didn't recall the policy he gave me a reference number the proceeded to ask about the boiler, how old, what make etc. Told him I thought it was a scam and he just said ' how can I scam your boiler'' Just told him I only deal with British

Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. A comment he made got me suspicious and I rang off/blocked

This is the Amazon Prime Scam. It is a recorded message that tells you that you've been charged >£90 to renew your Prime account.

SCAM!! Called saying someone was trying to buy an iPhone on my account. They sent me an Amazon authentication code and wanted me to tell them what it was! I think this is so they could gain access to my account. Very scary they could do this. I have now changed my Amazon login details!

Automated call claiming to be from my bank querting 2 credit card charges. As they didn't say what bank or which credit card & I had the exact same message from an 033 number only an hour ago, I told them to get a life

SCAM this number purported to be from PENSIONS Direct. It was a recorded message saying all advisors were busy. I expect we will get the scam part of the call next!

SCAM 01782259871 rang 29/07/23 09:22. Call centre from Microsoft. Told me I had a problem on my computer. This is an old scam! Told her I didn’t have a computer. Hung up and blocked number.

This is a number used by a Bank scam

I'm an individual counsellor and this person 'Jack' texted me during my Christmas holiday. He pretended to be a client at first, and I responded in case he was a potential client in need. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Don't fall for this.

Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.
