Call received at 12.56 05 05 2023. On my Ex directory landline? I answered 'hello' that was immediately followed by 'a recorded message'? about banking security being breached (that's all) - but then they hung up. Number now blocked. Suggest call treated as 'Dangerous'!

SCAM: Caller with foriegn accent tried to get me to renew appliance insurance that I didn't have for £500.

I was unable to make any withdrawals out of my initial deposits let alone the gains he claimed I have earned even after meeting the bogus fees and charges he is always requesting. Fortunately, I got to know about CYBER GENIE's Bitcoin recovery programmers through research and positive reviews on Google.

Male on this number rattled off who he was too quick to understand who he was representing. Then with quite assertiveness started to ask me personal questions about my property. I refused to answer any of his questions and phone was disconnected.
Claimed to be from O2 offering a 40% discount on my bill for being a "loyal customer". Did not greet me by my name. When I called her out on that and asked her to drop me an e-mail if she was legit, she hung up.

He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! Automated call from 01189668073 on my virtually unused landline threatening to cut off my internet service in 24 hours due to illegal activity. This was recorded by my answer phone and the message invites you to press 1 to speak to the technical department. No doubt that would then be some scam which is being deployed.

Just one in a string of similar calls each day. The timing indicates a typical sales and marketing call using an automated caller system. If i lift the receiver, a light flashes and the caller would then respond after a short delay. As i did not lift the receiver, the situation is easy to deal with: if the caller was serious, he would leave a message. As the economy worsens, fewer customers approach the sellers but more sellers try to approach customers...
