It sounded like an automatic voice, I think. It was definitely more than one voice and it didn't seem like a live person talking with me.

SCAM - pretend EE calling me for an upgrade deal, but I'm not with them, then they ask who I am with.

This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.

Claimed to be from Openreach saying my IP address was now public blah blah blah. so i hung up!

Trying to get me to sign up for online trading, wouldn't take no for an answer so hung up and blocked the number.

Fraud A well spoken man allegedly called "John" saying he understood I was the the homeowner which I declined to answer and started banging on about solar panels. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up. Like many other reports I am TPS registered, so if a genuine company they are breaking the law. If a scam, as I suspect it is, of course also illegal. Have NOTHING to do with this number and "company" !!

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. SCAM message received 14/02/24 appearing in same text message thread that I receive from Lloyds Bank. It provides a one-time passcode for a purchase that I had not made to FENDI LTD. It tells me to contact them on 03333392763 if I had NOT made the purchase. I did not call them, instead I contacted the fraud dept. of Lloyds Bank. Had I called the number in the text, it is likely they could have accessed money from my account. SCAM
