SCAM!!! Claimed to be Lenders List Uk ltd and tried to offer a loan with a upfront “insurance fee” of £20 thing is I didn’t even apply for a loan.
Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

SPAM I think! Number sends a (Covid-19) SMS alert message: NHS: You've recenty been in close contact with a confirmed case. You must book a test kit: https://my-pcr-order.com But, the SMS does not actually mention Covid-19! And, the website it takes you to appears to be the genuine NHS website, where it explicitly says you no longer have to isolate or do a lateral flow test, and there is no information on how to get a pcr test now that Test and Trace no longer operates!!!

This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.

I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. And told me that he calling to ask if my home had any damaged from the recent bad weather we have had. When I then asked him on how he got my personal number. SCAM, claims to be from EE and is "upgrading" your contract. I don't have a contract with EE at all and never have. Said they were from "fonehouse and were a third party for EE.
The message claims to be a delivery driver from Evri saying that my parcel was unable to be delivered. In the message there was a HTML link. Needless to say I didn't follow it up. Seems sketchy.

I was also daft as i did a direct transfer (stupid i know) , Said his name was Raj , another guy phoned me called Satish saying he was the manager . Tried to get more money out of me and get my card details . Whatsapp shows it as a business account (Travel Agency) but anyone can register whatsapp as a business account with no proof (which is so wrong). I have reported to whatsapp . Please Don't get scammed like me.
