Sales call, said were from O2. When asked how she had obtained my number, she was evasive. Asian accent, so thought it was from overseas. I am subscribed to the telephone preference service, so should not be getting marketing or sales calls. I cut them off and blocked.

There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. I have twice received calls last week from somebody (Roger, I think) claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. He first asked for somebody who has not worked here for several years. I asked him to send the new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request and claimed it was impossible. I told him to call back later in the week when he had sent the email. He did from this number and came out with the same drivel

recorded message saying my card had been used today for suspicious payments of £300 and £1350 today. Then asked me to press 1to cancel payments and a couple of other options. I terminated the call. Obviously a fraud/scam as no indication of which card was involved.
A robocall which suggested that I’ve been sent many letters by HMRC and am about to be prosecuted. None of it is true so it must be a scam!
