I received an automated message from this number telling me my national insurance number would be cancelled as criminal activity had been spotted regarding my national insurance number. I was urged to press 1 on my phone to speak to an officer immediately.
Called at 8.15am, and was blocked by my call guard system. I suspect a scam of some sort.
SCAM: a recorded message from "HMRC" saying there is a fraud case against you and to press 1.

It was a dead call. It rang, I answered. Several seconds of silence later and the call dropped. Another site has a claim that it is a debt management company. I could not tell. Ringing and hanging up to encourage a call back seems to be on the rise. I would say that there is no reason to trust it.

called alot so i answered a few times without speaking and they hung up immediately. Then i answered and went along with "the nice man from Microsoft" who wanted to "fix" my computer. When i got to a step that would do something to my computer i told him i thought he was a fake and a terrible person for sucking people in and he got really angry and went off! Fraud (Call back scam) They hung up as soon as I answered. It's the tedious call back scam where naive people (marks) call back thinking that it's a local/national number when, in fact, the return call is redirected to a premium rate number without the mark's knowledge. Works well with the drunk, those on drugs, the vulnerable and Boris voters.
