When I pick phone up cant hear anything then the phone goes dead. This number phoned me 3 times yesterday and 2 times today

This is Halifax / Bank of Scotland / Lloyds Bank complaints department. If they're calling you then you must have logged your phone number with them and made a complaint.

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. called about a northumbrian water debt that we have,we came to an agreement with northumbria water to pay £20 per month which we pay on a payment card,never missed a payment.looks like our details have been sold..we owe just over £200..will be taken action if this is the case company is OPOS LIMITED.

Typical **** auto recorded message about debt consolidation preying on the financially reckless, vulnerable and so on - as if anyone in this world would be stupid enough to sign up to anything with no prior knowledge on a cold call. If you see this number disconnect or let it ring out, nothing to be gained.

Several missed calls from this Manchester number, with no message left. Many of the calls "after hours" i.e after 7pm. I don t know anyone in the Manchester area, also if it was a genuine call a message would be left. So in my opinion, this must be a scam call, as no message is ever left and many of the calls are before 9am and after 7pm. Annoying to say the least, these companies should be fined and banned.

I am a talktalk customer, and also registered with the TPS but still they call nearly every day.I have asked them not to call and told them about TPS but it makes no differance.
