An asian gentleman calling himself John began with telilng me that I am receiving unwanted data on my compter through Windows. I let him waffle on for a minute or so and when I said he was ringing a company he hung up. charming!

This number belongs to Aldridge Property Servives in Flint. They pester you repeatedly with unsolicited calls asking if you want loft or cavity wall insulation, even if you arfe registered with the TPS!

As soon as you answer they disconnect and put the phone down.

Asian lady called at 8.45pm. Claimed to be from Lloyds Bank asked for Steven Smith (not a name known to us and generic enough to be false). Tried to obtain additional personal info.

Another pest, line went dead when I picked up the phone. This is an unwanted intrusion and should be made illegal. Wouldn t be surprised if it s an autodialler looking for live numbers, then they sell the number on.

This is the barclaycard team calling about late payments or exceeded credit card limit. If you don t have a barclaycard, somebody has used your number so that they don t get these calls themselves.

These people keep calling me to contact someone who has never lived at my address and have consequently never been on my phone number, no matter how many times I tell them this they refuse to take my number from their records. They are parasites feeding on the backs of peoples misfortune. It should be made illegal to sell on debts, the companies that are stupid enough to lend to someone who has given them a false phone number should be made to bear the debt and any costs and responsibilities of recovery. Energy Green Deal - she said this was the company name though I can t find it on Google. Phoned to offer me a fully qualified surveyor to check my windows and doors for any unnecessary heat loss and just leave me that information, plus if there s anyone between ages of 58 and 85 living in the house we will also qualify for the funding , just to keep for the future as a sort of lifeline if you like if we do decide to change anything in the future.
