Recorded message saying phone and internet will be disconnected tomorrow as our IP address has been used to hack a government website (because thats believable). It said if we don't call an 0161 number (i didn't even bother getting the rest) our internet and phone line would be cut off despite saying the exact same thing the day before and surprise surprise im here using the internet right now? Blocked number being able to contact us again.

They claim to be an energy company trying to frighten you regarding loft insulation. This is obviously a scam trying to lure people into parting with their hard earned cash whilst annoying them with phone calls everyday!!! The guy with moderate slavic/middle eastern blended accent insisted that trading stocks have no risk. That I'm not interested in that game at this time just wasn't accepted and I had to hang up to end the call when he was pushing to have me speak with a trader. As if I will take such a gamble with a cold call from overseas.
