Fraud Pre-recorded bot... advising that your internet has been used for illegal activity and to select various options to transferred to their CEO etc... yawn. A lame attempt to filter out the gullible from the savvy.

This is nothing to do with the FCA, the pension regulator should have looked at this but they tend to turn a blind eye to these scams. Lots of sceptics will have similar views but at least there is a compensation scheme for regulated screw ups of which there have been a lot.

new my name which is a pain. Asked him to hold as I put him on mute. Waited 3 minutes also and then hung and and rang straight back. 2nd time blocked the number

Claiming to be from PDL Loans (Pay Day Loans). Complete Scammers. Ask for 60 pound to give 1000 pound loan, then ask for another 99 pound. They even pay 105 pound into your bank account to make you secure, then ask you to pay back 165 to get loan, then all

Friendly number

Today, 15:32, only answered because I was expecting a recruitment company to call. Person advised they were calling about PPI, I advised this was a business number and requested that it be taken off their list, they agreed and we said goodbye, all nice and amicable, no need for shouting or rudeness. Will now add it to my contact called "DO NOT ANSWER" contact which takes it up to a grand total of 26 numbers :)

A automatic phone call saying they are HMRC and that they will pursue legal actions if I dont speak to them... bla bla... a SCAM.

Call regarding delayed flights and all inclusive holidays. Not relevant to me.

Guy with indian accent called himself "John" (obvious BS), said I was eligible for a replacement boiler under government scheme (like the Tories would do that). Told him I rent and don't have a boiler, he'd need to contact my estate agent. He had no idea what I was talking about. I repeated it a couple of times and in the end he gave up. Blocked the number so cannot comment on harrasment level but I am sure this is a scam.

Telemarketing

On Mon 5.12.2016 @ 16.38 hrs. an incoming call to an ex-directory landline no. previously issued to another subscriber to / of my current service provider ( of itself not brilliant since scam & nuisance calls built up using that person's name carry forward - probably why they changed their tel. no. dyafink ? ). The male voice asks for a Vic P several times ; then qualifies the request by asking a male respondeé ( me - not sure where the acute goes ) for a Mrs. Vic is generic in one further way :
