Following a search on GoCompare your details are passed to these guys who call offering a better quote and ask you to hold the line while they transfer you to another company who has no idea who you are. I guess they get kick backs for getting you there.

Called me at 2030 in the evening, followed by a text message with a reference number. Although I do owe money on some payments..after checking none of them are using this company so somehow they are getting my details somewhere! =(

Rang me today and said they were the "Vault". I asked them what they wanted and she starts immediately to ask me about my life insurance provisions. Do these idiots actually think that anyone would give personal and financial information to a company they know nothing about? Told them to clear off.

this number apparently belongs to a company called Mcallister&fitzgerald assuming of course that the young lady on the other end of the line is telling the truth

Ambulance Chasers! Phoning about "accident in last 2.5 years". A Glasgow number though not necessarily based there, using 0141 to increase chance of people in surrounding area answering call (as I did). Caller was polite enough and accepted my lack of interest without question.

Energy Green Deal - she said this was the company name though I can t find it on Google. Phoned to offer me a fully qualified surveyor to check my windows and doors for any unnecessary heat loss and just leave me that information, plus if there s anyone between ages of 58 and 85 living in the house we will also qualify for the funding , just to keep for the future as a sort of lifeline if you like if we do decide to change anything in the future. Phone spam form Autotask. After trying to add us to linkedin so they can spam that way they then tried to spam us by phone. Clearly what they are trying to flog isn't worth...

Repeated calls but only while abroad , itself highly suspicious. I suspect our holiday info was sold. All unanswered. No calls since returning to the UK.

Initially worried why they called me, but I quickly realised I had actually asked for some information about tutoring and they were just getting back to me. Very helpful person on the line.

Wanted to claim Ppi for me, foreign accent, had my name and address, don't answer.
