Caller identified himself as Reid from Reactive Media. Said he was calling about an overpayment on a (non-existent) loan between two arbitrary dates. When asked for details he couldn t give any and when pushed further he hung up.

I answered a call from this number at 2.19pm today and I could not understand what the man on the phone was saying. When I said, Sorry as in I didn't understand and wanted him to repeat what he said, he just hung up. I'm guessing it was some sort of SPAM phone call.
Appreciate this seems to be a legit and helpful company from the other messages left here, but I just received a call from these guys and had no idea why they were calling me. Number called advising me that a HMRC fraud investigation had been opened about me to call them for more information, it sounds like an American Automated voice. I have had the exact message from different numbers before.

Obviously a scam - caller claimed to be from APU and told me my washing machine warranty was running out - refused to disclose who had given her my details and did not even know...
Hung up after 4 rings. Unknown, no message left. Chances are it’s a number bought from China. So much for BT stopping unknown scammers.

Namely it solicits the person receiving the call to press 1 on their phones to seek help in avoiding Internet cut off within a timeslot of 4hrs usually. Needless to say there is no real problem pending and by pressing 1 the unwary may be frightened into giving bank details eg to pay delivery charge for new router. PLEASE HANG UP. DONT PRESS 1, IF YOU DO AND GIVE OUT BANK DETAILS.- CONTACT YOUR BANK/CARD ISSUER TO REPORT FRAUD. STAY
