Fraud - claiming to be from the national crime agency - something to do with national insurance number being cancelled

Apparent unsolicited mortgage marketing call. They identified themselves as "Mortgage Review". Refused to answer my questions about who they were and what they wanted and why they had called, insisting I should identify myself first. They then tried to get me to put my wife on the line, becoming more and more irate. I would expect legitimate callers to identify themselves and their business before demanding information.

SCAM / SPAM This number rang on my mobile phone and after a few seconds delay a female voice with a northern English accent introduced herself by name and said she had information that I'd been involved in an accident that wasn't my fault and asked if this was true. I'm afraid I just shouted "GET LOST!" in response and hung up. Yet another supposedly HMRC recorded message. I'm amazed that these fraudulent scammers are still trying this. If these idiots had an IQ above 1 they would get a proper job. Their families must be so proud of these amoeba brained crooks.

this number sent me a text saying that I had won 486000 pounds and asked me to send personal details by text reply. you'd have to be pretty gullable to fall for that.

Nuisance call about payday loans. Second time they called this month. When they phoned and we answered no one there. As it was a local number I called back.
