Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. I answered on their third call. Liam tried to be my friend, then wanted to know if I was insured. I thanked him for his concern, and told him the conversation was over. Then hung up.

My wife received a voice mail saying that "you have a serious file against your name, you will face hard and unwanted legal consequences" no names were mentioned. Wife found it quite disturbing. Scam call told her to delete.

As others, I answered the phone and waited, and waited, and waited. After around 15 seconds I heard it start to dial out, and someone then began to speak but I closed the call before responding. Clearly a call centre whose autodial is calling faster than their agents can respond.
