Phoned me several times but as I found out why they called, by reading comments on this site, I have added their number to my list of blocked calls on my Call Guardian phone setup. Now the phone only rings once then automatically cuts them off without me having to do anything other than laugh at them for wasting their time.

Caller claimed she was from BT and that other people were using my internet line. She wanted me to test something using my computer. She knew one of my email addresses, but not the one provided by BT. She gave daft or evasive answers to my questions. This appears to be a scam with the aim of getting me to provide personal details or perhaps remote access to my computer.

Had a text and phone call from a Scottish man saying he was from lloyds bank saying a company tryed taking money out when i was at work with the card. He then ask me my name dob ect and where the card was! i did not tell him where the card was. He then said i should cancel my card asap.. I said no im not doing that an hung up. He calls from the office landline, his own mobile - whatever he can to get through. Very pushy sales techniques to try and book you in for months of really expensive advertising. Always deadline s here, need a decision today and when you say no he comes back a day or two later with another deadline! Borderline harassment now...
Automated call claiming to be a survey. Message said, “Hello, we are conducting a survey. Press 1 if you are registered as a Democrat”. Seems suspicious, hung up. TPS Registered, and while political canvassing is excluded, this didn’t feel like a UK party call.
