American recorded voice told me that I had had a law suit filed against me. Asked me to press 1 to contact my case officer. Obviously I did not do so. Obvious scam.

Subcontinental-sounding told me I needed a box to stop nuisance calls - two pounds fifty a month for three years! Caller Display does it much cheaper and I don t usually answer calls from 0845- numbers. Curious this time.

The same experience as Rob, except that the caller (allegedly BT Open Reach) got further along the line before I realised it was a scam and rang off. Call from this number about my credit, apparently l have outstanding debts, not so. Told them where to go and not call again. Blocked number.

This number comes from a agency in London working on behalf of the times newspaper. If you answer them tell them you want their registered address so you can bill them ?10 per minute, that ll get rid of them, but if the do recall then send them a invoice sent as tracked, and they have to pay you if you pursue to a small debt court. That should get rid of them once and for all. Local Police also informed

These people have been calling me for weeks. I have told them that I am not the person they are asking for "Mrs Humphries" and asked them numerous times to take me off their list but still they call. As soon s they realise I am not the person they want they disconnect sometimes whilst I am mid sentence. Infuriating!
