This caller asked me to confirm if I was in a car accident that wasn't my fault. I laughed and said no and told her never to call me back. Then I blocked the number.

They won’t stop calling and if it is Haifax I am not with them so I am unaware of why they call
My parents, both in their 80 s, have been receiving calls from this number. Often early in the morning and in close succession, there is silence, giggling, but no communication - very disconcerting for them. Since neither of them are in great physical form, it is extremely worrying that these nuisance calls are causing them great discomfort. What can be done about it?

This number is a legitimate business - Home Shield Direct. They sell insurance for various white goods. I have cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer covered. Had them out to fix all three appliances at various times and service was excellent. So absolutely NOT a scam.

Claims to be from the Automobile association but is a phishing scam trying to sell you insurance to get your bank details - avoid like the plague

Automated call saying they were from a claims specialist and were calling about the non at fault accident I had recenly had. Call ended when I didn't respond.
Any idea who this number belongs to - called back and it says the number is not in service ...!
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware - and checked also similar numbers, sometimes reported as ambulance chasers - car accidents (=insurance business).
Unallocated number so definitely a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers but originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Ignore it or block the number...

Call claiming to be from o2 regarding my mobile contract renewal (and numerous missed calls thereafter). I was suspicious so checked with o2 - they confirmed they didn't recognise the number and recommended blocking it so they can't contact me again.
