Appears to be an American number. No idea who it is. Checked with family in USA and not known to them either

This was a recorded message to say illegal activity had been on my internet which would be cut off in 24 hours. I was to press 1 to speak to someone. Clearly an attempt to get into my computer so cut it off.

They call on a regular basis trying to say that I can claim on mis-sold insurance, loans and credit cards. I think there really a debt collection agency trying to confirm your identity and getting you to confirm old debts. TOTAL PARRASITES, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM.

Same as you all, thought the same thoughts tries the number and then searched it to double check and knew something wasn t adding up.

SCAM Very rude gentleman claiming to be from BT and asking me to access a website because of a (non-existent) change to my Internet connection. Became aggressive and clueless when I asked him to prove his identity, before giving up easily. Come on, guys, you're not even *trying* to be convincing any more! Amateur.

Recycling scam

It was a recorded voice. It told me I could get free calls on my phone and the asked me to press various buttons which i didn?t. Don?t answer the call.

Numerous calls from them, never anyone there and we are reistered TPS.

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. Dont recognise the number, got to it as they rang off

This number left me a voicemail saying they were calling from Inland Revenue and to ring them back. If I did not ring back I should expect legal action. Definitely a scam
