SCAM Call This is a scam number. It is a Broadband scam. They a message first states your broadband is being hacked and has large actvities being undertaken on the broadband. It then askes you to press 1 to talk to someone in the technical team. I pressed 1 and a man with an indian accent stated that i should get my computer so he can guide me on what to do to rid the broadband hackers. I hung up the phone on this request.

I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. Not worried or frightened, just a bit miffed that they won t have a conversation with me. I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Either way, you know it s a scam. I like to have fun with them. They have all been Filipino until today where the caller was of African descent.
