Guy calling himself Michael keeps calling my mothers home and telling her she is owed over ?3000 and to call this number.I have told her it is a scam so now she justs plays dumb and has a nice chat with him until he hangs up.

PPI call from BPC - Black Pearl Claims. Absolute scam, they ve used several different numbers to call me from, and I ve never bought a PPI in my life. I d love to know who sold them my number since I don t use it when filling out forms and such.

Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out

My callblocker app said it was to do with pensions so obviously cold calling.

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby.
