SCAM Caller said he was from Amazon ringing to advise that my Amazon Prime account was due to expire and asking me if I wanted to renew. I don't have Amazon Prime so realised that this was a scam so played along. I said yes I wanted to renew and he then asked me for my bank card details so I hung up. He never asked for my name.
Cold calling... since I don't know the niumber and checked only to find that the number had been checked 90 times before me within the last two days alone, I'd put my money on spam callers...

SCAM / SPAM Automated male voice, claimed to have a tax fraud case in my name and that I should press 1 to speak to an advisor or be arrested shortly. Pressed 1 to see what they said but was on hold for ages
Within minutes of getting a nuisance call on the spare mobile telephone I do not use I received this call on my landline, a recorded voice telling me it was the last time they would be trying to contact me - but I have had the SAME MESSAGE many times! They continue to lie. Their calls are uninvited. I do not want anything to do with them. I object to recorded messages of this type anyway.

SCAM Apparently my driver attempted to deliver my parcel this afternoon and nobody was in (I was probably out - of my mind and hiding behind the fridge). So, I can reschedule by clicking in to an https:// site. how wonderful of them to tell me!!!!!...... The number lookup on Who called me says it belongs to the Russian Federation, Comy - must be a hell of long way to go to deliver a parcel.

Indian male called Alex purporting to be from BT telling me I had a problem with my internet and they were getting urgent error signals. I knew it was a hoax call, had them before, so asked him twice what the signals were and he put the phone down. I googled the number that came up, 01438 318251 and its for a homeless shelter in Stevenage. Indian scammers using business numbers for those that really need help! Sick b$%^A$%s!

A scummy telesales company. They are a legal claims company trawling for business for people whose hearing has been damaged by working in noisy environments. It appears they may have had their database supplied by "Perfect Preferences", but in any event they ignore the TPS database, and as such their cold calls are ILLEGAL.

Called twice today, First call I cancelled. 2nd I answered said they were fron British Gas/Scottish Gas. When they asked which company I was with I asked why they needed that information they said they were doing research. I told them i gave no private or personal information to cold callers. Calls are at least - being stopped by Call Guardian which is built into the phone. So, the phone rings once, the Guardian kicks in and asks for the caller s identity. However, since this has never been given (and any such call is then terminated by Guardian), we assume they coming from an automated system. We just wish the system would give up on us!
