Claimed to be from BT Openreach, when I asked where he got my number from he threw a load of verbal abuse at me to which I responded that he's obviously not from BT Openreach and hung up.

Silent call Phoned at 0130 on 4th October 2020. Answering machine went on before I got to the phone. There was a VERY loud crackling noise. Tried phoning the number the number the following day - either engaged or rings out.

Just received call from this number. Didn t answer and no message left. I rang 1471 and obtained number and rang it three times and it was a dead line.
No response when answered and caller then disconnects. This is not the first time this number has called but the response is always the same.

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

And I think theca centre staff might actually believe that are being employed by Virgin. Asian male ... from Virgin Media ...said my broaband was not working properly. I hung up. Worryingly this scammer is purporting to be phoning from close to my own area so the number looks genuine.
Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me! SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel
