SCAM. Indian accent, hectic indian call centre background, typical scammers, they said they recieved word this morning from the UK government that I was in debt. They failed to provide my full name, my address, or any information as to how they got my number other than 'from the government' It's a bit funny because they tried this last month as well off a different number when the government contacted their office to get in contact with me that morning too, they know nothing but your number and partial name
scam -- starts as a recorded message about a £600 transaction, if you press 1 some indian guy tries to get your bank details. He hung up when I said I knew the man in MountVille California who was accessing my account !!!

Claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Worrying signs, firstly did not have my name as a contact or any reason to indicate I have an Virgin account. Also they are using a local number, for a very small area, which to my knowledge does not have a Virgin office.

This was a recorded message to say illegal activity had been on my internet which would be cut off in 24 hours. I was to press 1 to speak to someone. Clearly an attempt to get into my computer so cut it off.

Think this is a scam. 2 calls this morning on different nos, but the same recorded message and same female voice. My internet will be disconnected in the next 24-48 hours because of illegal activity. Called me to discuss all info about my traffic accident which is non existent. I asked who NAC is and he said he d get to that then asked about my accident. I asked him to explain what happened as he had it all there. He told me to f*ck off and said he would slap me in the street if I spoke to him like that. Apparently he owns the business so he can talk to his potential cs how he likes.
