My mum-in-law received a call from this numbe, informing her that i should contact BT as the wanted to talk to me urgently. It was an automated voice. Im in Australia currently & she's in UK. I am job hunting & it seems they have somehow gotten details.

These people are getting fly and calling on local numbers - couldn't even get my name remotely right and hung up on me - bonus

Received calls regarding a supposed car accident from this number several time over the last two months. I ve been reasonable and told them I understand it s their job, nothing personal, but it s irritating as hell when you work afternoons/evenings and you re getting calls at 7.45am, and you don t even own a car. After being told twice now that my number will be removed from their lists I m hacked off I m still being harrassed

Scam. Came after voice activated auto calls, live caller accusing you of using his wifi. Presumably to con you into handing over details to disprove allegation? No idea as hung up and blocked the fw. English accent.
