Phoned my mobile a couple of times- ignored as not in my phonebook.

Within minutes of getting a nuisance call on the spare mobile telephone I do not use I received this call on my landline, a recorded voice telling me it was the last time they would be trying to contact me - but I have had the SAME MESSAGE many times! They continue to lie. Their calls are uninvited. I do not want anything to do with them. I object to recorded messages of this type anyway.

A woman with a West African accent phoned me at 4.30 pm on 12th July 2012. She asked me how my "claim" was progressing and whether she could help. Obviously a telemarketing call because there was the usual buzz of conversation in the background. The annoying thing is that I m on the Telephone Preference List of people who should *NOT* be contacted by telemarketers. Unfortunately, it doesn t seem to have worked in this case. Caller said she was in nearby Devon city and was calling about a car accident. Told her I don t have a car and she hung up. Did 1471 and this London number came up.

Didn t answer as unwanted cold call from a number I don t know, but searching it after on the net.

The guy just went straight into a script, no explanation of why he was calling or what the company were about. I put the phone down, "Grants" and Windows were mentioned.

When you ring back, number is not recognised, probably a scam.

This number called today saying he was calling from the call blocking service and wanted me to confirm the expiree date of my bank card. Refused and he dropped the call I refused

This number called while I was out. I did not have time for checks when I got home (most calls I get are of the nuisance variety) so did not ring back. Afterwards I discovered it was the Talk Talk imposters who have been bothering me for a couple of years.
