A woman with an Indian accent who called herself Alysha-Trottman stole money from my account promising a loan that never materialised. Today a man who claimed Alysha-Trottman passed my loan application to him asked me to send £200 through money gram into their account upfront in order to get my loan. When I refused, he then showed his true colour by threatening to withdraw every penny in my account as he now has all my bank details. He said he s a scammers and laughed then hung up !

Also why is it always from a Manchester (0161) code. I think I can safely block all Manchester numbers...

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? never answered the call as the number looked strange. If it was santander then the number would be known. searches on the net say its a fake Santander number but seems to be new to most databases. Best to ignore all unknown numbers.

Constantly calling, claims to be Money Expert. I m registered with the TPS and have reported them, I imagine I m not the only one!

Weird phone call. Called me up on Skype and all you you hear is a voice saying "please hold the line". Call the number back and it instantly gives you the error tone.

Silent call.

Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn t my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn t had an accident, she hung up on me.

Several missed calls from this number, finally answered one & was told they were calling RE a road traffic accident I d been involved in 2 years ago that was not my fault. Never been involved in an accident & have a clean licence so hung up!

Answered phone, said "Hello" Nothing for 20 seconds, said "Hello" again. Nothing for 10 seconds, said "Some silly bast*rd winding me up". He spoke then, but I didn t hear as I was hanging up. I don t block them, I store the name under Spam and let them run their bill up.

I have had two calls from this number today and when I answer they ring off.
