One of those "we understand you recently had a car accident" phones call. Automated voice didn t sound like a real person.

American sounding woman called me saying she was from Nationwide Trust Bureau. She said someone at this address had a car accident in the past 2 years. (I haven t.) So i asked her what address was that. She repeated her line, do i repeated mine. She hung up.

i get one or two calls from this number to my mobile (a talk talk contract). When you call back it goes nowhere - now worried that this may be a result of talk talk being hacked recently

Ended as soon as I answered.

Called various numbers in our office. Hung up quickly when asked who they were calling for. Scammers,and useless scammers at that.

Called but didn t hang up - just said nothing at all on the answer machine, although there was a small amount of background noise.

Called at 9.15am did not speak they cut off after 1min

Received an obscene call from this number this evening - young sounding guy with northern accent. He hung up when my husband asked him what he wanted. Fortunately I am too old and experienced to be upset by it, but someone else might not be. Nasty, since he asked for the previous subscriber for this line by name.

Refused to announce their identity to my Call Guardian so they are now on my "blocked" list.

Caller said he was phoning from Sky and said the warranty on my Sky setup is due and he was going to upgrade me and started to ask personal questions. Told him i no longer have Sky (which was a lie) and he hung up..!!!!!

Name left as Sarah Smith but no further details.
