Called claiming to be from Claims Advice Centre regarding an accident I had been involved in. Very rude and aggressive when I pressed on which particular company they were with as that was not one I knew and had been involved with. Eventually when they sensed I was not going to disclose any details he told me he was finishing the phone call :-)

Vanquis bank vultures who have many different numbers and will call you anytime during day and night. They are very impolite to try and get a missed payment out of you or to try and get you to pay more and don't care if you can't afford too. Claimed to be from HMRC, used a text to voice program telling me that a "serious lawsuit" has been filed against me and signed off with have a blessed day - not the sort of thing HMRC would say. The number was 0121, HMRC is an 0800 number. plus they wouldn t phone, they would write. This is a scam

SCAM text message received from this number claiming to be from HSBC. Message states it detected new device used for HSBC access and to click on link provided to confirm device. Can't think why a bank would use a mobile phone number to text messages to it's customers. I'm not even a customer of HSBC and the location map of the number shows it in the middle of a field of nowhere!

Caller claimed to be from Serif UK, the software company. They wanted to do a survey, and when I told them I don t do surveys over the phone, nor do I confirm details someone claims to have about me, they slipped up and said they wanted to do a survey about my household finances, not the sort of thing Serif does. I regularly speak to Serif on other matters and never had this kind of conversation with them. I reckon they were out on a Phishing trip, but they didn t get even a nibble from me.
