The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Nobody speaks when you answer. I received 2 calls from this number and I could hear rumors from background. It is probably a call centre, but I don t know why they don t speak.

Phoned about a car part. This company sent a quote twice about a car part after using 247carspares.co.uk They passed me from dept to dept and in the end said the part was no longer available. Beware of numbers starting with 070 premium rate.

Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me! This number calls our fax machine daily.They re a nuisance because we have to check who s tried to call every time in case it s a customer trying to send a fax. They don t seem to learn from the fact that a fax machine answers every single time they call!

On TPS - phoned twice on Withheld Display. Asked to speak to supervisor and given this number. (They say they are telling you about Government Initiative for Energy saving.) You phone this number, to get name removed, and get no reply.
