These Transcom a holes obviously don t even check the numbers they ve been given before calling them. Transcom left a computerised message demanding that someone should call them. I ve never given out my number, had no dealings with Transcom, and the person they were asking for has never, to my knowledge, lived here or used this number. They asked for my name and if I had a life insurance. I said thank you but I am not interested. They replied on a very rude way: "I am not asking you if you are interested or not, just if you have or not a life insurance". I said no thanks, and goodbye. I doubt that would be the best way to communicate with customers...
Interesting comments. I have lived out of this country for 7months. Come back here, buy a paygo sim and within 1 day am receiving bogus and spam calls!!! Come on regulatory boar...

Fraud - automated call saying it was my bank (didn't say which bank!!!) detailed two transactions it said was made this morning one to Amazon and one a transfer abroad. Asked me to press 1 to cancel transactions or 2 to authorize. I'm guessing that this would then take me to a premium line number or someone asking for my details. I just hung up of course. The scary thing is that it showed as coming from a local dialing code or I wouldn't have answered it.
Received a text message claiming it was from HSBC (I don't bank with HSBC!!) "HSBC- A payment was attempted from a new device. If this was not you, please cancel this payment by visiting: hsbc.instruction-authenticate.co.uk" Please be careful, This is a scam. If you receive this message or a similar one and are unsure if it actually from your bank or not. I suggest you contact your bank directly (not via the link in the text message).
