Fraud. A recorded voice says the call is from HMRC and that they have a legal case against you; you need to press 1 to talk to an agent and set up payment.

Said they were from Sky. 1st lady's English was not very good and she did not understand my questions. Asked me to google speed test. Did not understand when I asked if that was all one word or 2 words, must be a question asked by others Im sure.. She passed me on to another lady and she was not much better. I ended the call as I felt sure SKY would employ people with better spoken English than this for a customer service job. This felt wrong so Im going to say its dangerouse. no evedence however.

SCAM Automated call on 10/7/23 at about 10am. Message said from Barclays fraud dept, payment of £800 pound to American on-line gambling noticed on visa account, press button 1 if not me. Thought it was a scam as bank wouldn't send automated call, phoned bank on their known number, bank said not on my visa account scam.
Supposedly from Microsoft, again, a lot of call centre like chatter. Indian man said he was from Microsoft. I said I was only 15 - actually 21, he was happy about this and still asking if I owned the computer in which he had the Id or some sort of computing address, I said that I don't have a computer - which I do, and he called me a liar and said that he knows I have a computer !.
