18 Oct 2021 - cheeky git tried threatening me with court . Claiming was calling from HMRC and i owed tax. Asked him to confirm when its for and turns out it was 2020, well i, along with a lot of the population was on furlough. I basically argued its HMRCs responsibility to calculate what i pay so its not my fault. Ive had no communication in the post and he will have to take me to court. Picked up, the line was silent and then started ringing as though I had called the number (I get the feeling this is a reverse charges scam) Someone picked up on the other end after 1 ring said my name then hung up. Number is being blocked - be careful!

claims to be from bt but when told this is part of a large company I was told I was lying and it was a domestic number it said so on their computer...still calls up to 5 times a day even though they have been told to cease

Caller said there was a problem with my computer. Asked him if he was same person making a similar call from a withheld number earlier today who used foul abusive language when I asked if he had heard of the telephone preference service. This time the caller rang off immediately.
