SCAM Calls every September asking me to buy books for a local school, then pay in May the following year. Called again this week asking to pay for the books, but hung up when I told them I didn't agree to the deal. Would have scammed me if I didn't remember saying no to their offer.
This seems to be the latest scam whereby the caller tel no comes up as local to you and you answer assuming it s your dentist or child s school etc so 01525 is for Leighton Buzzard etc The give away is its always a scouser accent When you say hold on you are not a Leighton buzzard no they hang up They mentioned the accident I never had ... Sighs ... Had two calls now I answer and just quietly leave phone down and let them run up call charges

I was defrauded 10 thousand pounds by this number, they hacked my computer and online account, they put fake screens on my computer believing that they had paid incorrect compensation to me which looked legit on my online banking, except the screen I was seeing was fake and the were transferring money out my account

As with the others, an Indian sounding gentleman called asking about an accident and, by pure chance, I have just been involved in an accident and am awaiting a call back from the third party's insurance company. Once I realised it was a phishing call I apologise for wasting their time and hung up.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. I had a few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back.

I was called today by an Asian woman who said she was from BT. I asked her for her EIN employee Identification number. She gave me a number in the wrong format. When I told that was not an EIN she put the phone down. Be vigilant with these types of calls

Only answered for 14 seconds, it waited for a human response before giving an animated robotic woman's voice stating "you are a lucky winner in a draw to win £1000..." before I hung up
