SCAM The call was a 'real' person in a busy call centre purporting to be from Amazon reporting that someone had bought a £45 voucher through my account which they thought was suspicious. I told them I would check my account separately and contact Amazon myself if I saw anything untoward and I hung up. Needless to say there was no gift card purchase on my Amazon account.

Told them before that i am not interested, tried ignoring their calls yesterday (6 calls in total). Answered today, got some guy who rudely hung up as i was about to express my dis-pleasure with their calls. Accident This number 'phoned me to say they had been notified by the Dept. of Transport that I had been involved in a minor accident. This was not true - I have not had an accident and when I said so they hung up on me.
