No answer when I picked up. Part of a series of different suspicious mobile numbers to have called me since yesterday. Only one of them responded when I picked up a (an automated message supposedly from my unnamed Internet provider).
Asking for a person who isn t on the phone numbers
Automated message. "Criminal case against you for tax evasion, press a number for more details..." I hung up.

SCAM: I think it must be a scam number because he said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse which has since disbanded. he jumped in with another 'even better offer' before I'd even rejected the 1st offer. I didn't get a chance to reject any offer though as they spoke so fast with a thick accent, that I couldn't understand what was being said. I then asked him to repeat & he said 'bye' & hung up... Fraud The friendly female operator claimed I had agreed to sponsor a school anti bullying campaign last February 2020, and they were calling to ask which schools I wanted the booklets to go into. I had never agreed to this, I know every charity and campaign I have supported over the years so I knew this was a scam. I Imagine if i had been pulled into their scam and talked about which schools, they would then ask me to pay my contribution by asking for my card details.
