SCAM Has tried several times to tell me that I have no loft insulation-when asked does he know who he is calling and where and how does he know, he prattles on for 30 seconds and then must realise that he is getting nowhere. Today I just said "its you again" and he said "have a nice day" and rang off. He needs to be stopped before he does real damage!

They call saying I have been in a road accident and they MUST speak to me. They have been known to phone in middle of night. How many insurance companies (if that's what they are) would do such a thing.

They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients. I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back. Automated call from 01778 346650. On answering, a message started about an order for an iPad from Amazon. Wanted me to press a number to continue & another for something else. I hung up. Later the same day, a call was received from 01302 326248, which was for the same thing.
