Answered 'phone immediately, but seller hung up. Not a clue who it was, or what it was about-I assume an automated random dialing that dropped the call, and should be reported as such. The other reports have left no comment, so I presume they had the same 'silent' treatment.

Sick to death of these people, no matter what you say to them they never listen. SCAM, he said his name was Adam Scott from Microsoft telling me my computer was at risk, giving me specific codes for my computer and saying I needed to turn it on.... My laptop takes 20 mins to start up and when I said this to him he said don't worry it won't take long... I think the longer your on call with these guys the worse it can get

SCAM Caller said he was from Amazon ringing to advise that my Amazon Prime account was due to expire and asking me if I wanted to renew. I don't have Amazon Prime so realised that this was a scam so played along. I said yes I wanted to renew and he then asked me for my bank card details so I hung up. He never asked for my name.

The above number called my business number on Sunday evening at 8:15 pm so it diverted to my mobile. Did not answer as I didn't recognise the number

SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
