3 calls in 3 days from caller who would not leave company name but wanted someone other than me to call back and left this no. Comments on this web site raise alarm bells.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Early morning nuisance call

these nusience calls should be illegal, how many old people have been frightened by them or even worse scammed.

call claiming to be HMRC. its a scam!

Said that they were calling on behalf of Scottish Power, offered to give me a better deal on my electricity and gas bill.

Phoned about a car part. This company sent a quote twice about a car part after using 247carspares.co.uk They passed me from dept to dept and in the end said the part was no longer available. Beware of numbers starting with 070 premium rate.

2 calls to my mobile phone, both while I was out without it. No messages left, so I m assuming it s a cold caller.

This number called me today while I was in class and my phone started flashing I looked at it under the table and it said it was from Manchester

Asian type voice called about our computer - surprise surprise. We kept her talking for almost 3 minutes pretending we were grateful for her help. When asked what we could see on the screen (we didn t switch it on) we used the well used phrase beware Asians asking about your computer . She promptly ended the call.

Fake BT scammers, asking to log on to your computer and change settings or your internet switched off!
