He calls from the office landline, his own mobile - whatever he can to get through. Very pushy sales techniques to try and book you in for months of really expensive advertising. SCAM. Very very noisy background. Sounded like Indian call centre with 100s of people nearby. During a pandemic!? Claimed to be BT Openreach checking service. Asked me how many lights flashing on box. I asked where lights would be. Vague response. He asked me to check back. My router doesn’t even have lights on back. Kept telling me to ‘switch off’. Switch what off!? Asked him to confirm customer name. He hung up.

Phoned my child, apparently got to know her first name. Can only think it is spam or scam. Tried to call them back to determine who they were. Never answered phone would ring for almost 60 seconds then be cut off.

Female called saying she was calling about an accident I had reported. I said I hadn t reported an accident and asked where she got the information from. She said she wasn t at liberty to say, then rudely went off on one, ending with it was my fault for not opting out, before slamming the phone down. Opting out of what..? Have blocked caller.
