I answered the phone and was about to hang up after a long silence when an Asian lady asked to speak to me. When I asked her what she wanted, she replied that she wanted me to stop speaking. What a cheek! as I did not ask to be called by pests on a Friday evening and would prefer not be called again.

Guy with indian accent called himself "John" (obvious BS), said I was eligible for a replacement boiler under government scheme (like the Tories would do that). Told him I rent and don't have a boiler, he'd need to contact my estate agent. He had no idea what I was talking about. I repeated it a couple of times and in the end he gave up. Blocked the number so cannot comment on harrasment level but I am sure this is a scam.
