Cancelled a subscription last week. They tried to dissuade me but in the end accepted i was resolute in my decision. They called today as i found out from googling the number. Accident This number 'phoned me to say they had been notified by the Dept. of Transport that I had been involved in a minor accident. This was not true - I have not had an accident and when I said so they hung up on me.

Pretending to be from BT - trying to scam
Hertfordshire twice a day for the last two days, don't bother answering.
Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me! Fraud: Trying to claim NI has expired due to 'fraud claim' - starts saying its the gov work and pensions. Association with number 0800 532 6273 that called a few hours prior to claim the same thing.

Keep calling despite being told not to, reported to ICO, suggest all others do the same
Kept calling frequently and hanging up or dead line upon answer - finally got a female asking to speak with DH about previous Boxing news subscription and he wasn t interested. She says "well I ll call back" before I could pleasantly tell her to remove the number she hung up. Still keep ringing and Sky scandalously want to charge £3.50 per month to bar it. Saw another user s helpful comment to change the call ID so we know to ignore it, so thanks for that bit of advice.
