It’s a SCAM! Pretending to be a mobile company sounding like Vodafone. It is not! Be warned!

Seems to be one of these broadband scam outfits - claims to be from Virgin then BT.

Caller stated they were from virgin media and there was corruption on my router, they stated they would disconnect my internet due to the corruption if i didnt let them help me fix it. I have since called virgin media who confirms they have not called me

Smooth talking guy, asked for me by name. Wanted to talk to me regards my BT bill. I asked him what the problem was. He said no problem, I am your BT agent and could do a better deal. I said to him "but you aren't BT are you" and he told me he was authorised, had a number etc etc. Didn't seem too pleased when I said to him "You are not BT you are JTalk and hung up. Rang back but I let it ring out. Don't need to do business with a liar.

Called saying they were HSBC and wanted to check a transaction on my account Asked me to confirm my date of birth but I told them I would ring back Called the bank on another number and they checked my account there were no issues flagged Therefore a phishing call however this person seemed to know my name and date of birth

This number called twice today. The man claims to be from a mobile phone company that works with my operator. Offers better deals. and need my details, and my contract details and when I asked why he's not taking data from the screen he admitted that my details are not there and he is calling with a completely different company. Clearly scammers and it's better not to talk to this number.

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. Scam call: recorded female voice message (with American accent), purporting to be from HMRC, stating that I was being pursued (criminal case) for failure to pay taxes.

Said they were from BT and phoning about my Internet. When I said I didn't have Internet with them they called me a 'funking liar'.

SPAM I kept getting calls from this number and then a doggy voicemail saying we will take legal action. The voicemail sounded like a robot.

SCAM A recorded message saying that money had been withdrawn from my account to an unexpected payee and I should press 1 (to ignore I think that was) or press 2 for help. Instead of dialling either choice I checked my online banking record. As expected, there was no trace of any unauthorised withdrawals so I blocked the number.
