SCAM / SPAM Scam claiming bt internet technician. First he states his name is justin. Then he states jim. He had a foreign - Indian or Pakistani accent. Tells you to download team viewer app from play store/ Apple store and then asks you for the id number. They will try to block your device and charge you to unlock it. When I stated I use virgin he saud by can fix the virgin technical problems too. If I had a problem I would ring my provider which was none of the ones I have mentioned here.
Automated phone call telling me that there was unusual internet activity on my internet connection and I was about to be disconnected. To Press 1 to speak to an advisor, This comes on a day when my internet provider had informed me that they would be doing service upgrades in the area.

SCAM I don't know who this company is but they are ARSEHOLES. I answered, they asked to speak to *my name*, I said "who's calling" , they said "good afternoon *my name* I'm Alex how are you today?" , I said "which company are you and why are you calling me?" He then MIMICKED me like a primary school child and hung up. What a sad life to have, working for a scumbag scam company bullying people on their own phone numbers.

It could be either spam or scam, but I do not know exactly. I get the last few weeks calls from this number that I always miss. A message is never left behind, which is weird.

Possible that very sophisticated software being used - have had a previous call from 'Chris' on a different number and another call this morning from 'Chris' on a further number linked to Edinburgh. Stated he was from a company called Caledonian. Wouldnt tell me anything about the company or why he was calling until I said I had time to spare to talk properly. I hung up. Obviously trying to either sell me something or claim back PPI or similar. Not very forthcoming. I would avoid this company.
