Having reported a fault to BT online, I received a call from this number. My (BT) screening phone did not let it through. I rang BT to ask about an engineer and said I had received a call from this number, I was told that, upon checking my account, no one from BT had called. It appears not to be a genuine BT number.
Sneakily used my local area code but foreign call centre
Unknown caller left no message and no doubt a scam
no response on reply back
Called several times I didn’t answer as I didn’t recognise. No message left

Twice in last two days I picked up the phone to hear Goodbye and phone went dead
Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me! If you speak, the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will be logged, a scammer will then call you later! They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive.
