A call from Carphone warehouse, using a LOCAL code - ie - 01324 trying to deceive you into thinking it s a local call. You answer, and it s OBVIOUSLY a CALL Centre (by all the noise in the background) and on questioning the guy, is clearly NOT in the Falkirk area. This type of local call is being used more and more.

When I don t recognise an incoming call, I now dont speak....and then I find that if it s a dodgy call the caller hangs up, also without speaking. This happened with this number this morning.

has repeatedly rung me trying to make me pay for an advert in his crime prevention magazine that he says I agreed to but I know I didnt.
