The caller gave his name and said he was from "The National Advisory Service" and that they had on their records that I had "some years ago" worked in manufacturing. Replied I had not and please to no call me again - he was still going through his spiel as I hang up!

Had a text requesting me to phone this number and quote a reference code almost immediately after moving over £2000 from my HSBC account to another bank but was wary. SCAM Further to my earlier review I managed to get the operator to give up on me by pretending to be deaf and unable to understand his heavy India accent (not entirely untrue on either count). Kept asking him to repeat all the questions and spell out everything: first his name, then the name of the company etc in a voice that makes me sound older than I am. After 2or 3 minutes he gave up.
