I ve been getting several calls a day not just from this number, but from others, too - or sometimes they come up as "unavailable" or "international". Weird one, I got a sales call from a Liverpool number to my mobile who seemed just as confused as I was as they swore they actually dialled this number (01517060251). Have absolutely no idea which part of it is a scam. It's definitely weird. Googled the number and nothing came up.

When I dialed the number, it was out of order, so it looks like this call was from an overseas number that was spoofing a UK dial-back number.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
