SCAM this number rung me this morning saying that my national insurance number is at risk of being blocked as it has been linked to some illegal activities press 1 to speak to an officer. When speaking to a officer I asked him how do I know this isn't a scam and he hung up.

Received a text off of them pretending to be HMRC.
SCAM On asking for the lady of the house by name and I said she wasn't available but could I help they hung up. On phoning the number back I was informed that it does not exist.

Very Heavily accented caller on a poor line which I suspect originated overseas. Purporting to be from the number blocking department of my phone line provider offering to stop all the Spam phone calls I had been receiving recently. Asking for banking information. When challenged was unable to provide even basic information to me and hung up.

Probably TPI (Third Party Intermediary) using hard sell techniques to convince to switch to OPUS or similar energy companies. They will do anything possible to hide the fact that they are energy brokers which is actually against the Trading Standards but Ofgem will soon start to go after them. They will try to convince you to accept a new contract with them. DO NOT Trust them as they will get paid and you may end up with an expensive new contract.

called me 4 times this afternoon everytime i told them i was tps registered. each tiem they just hung up as soona s i mentioned it. on the last one i held off telling them about the tps and made up gibberish answers to their ridiculous survey and told them i was 452 years old and then dropped the tps bomb. I believe this to be a Scam.
Call from this number followed a spam text from a claims management company (I responded to the text to try to find out who sent it). Wouldn t identify the company or admit that the text was spam, but claimed it had been sent as a result of a mistake on their database.
I ve had a couple of missed calls from 0845-0401256 on Wed 2nd Aug 17). I tried calling it back on my work phone (Skype) but the call wouldn t connect as the number isn t in service. Very dodgy if you ask me!
