Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me! Subcontinental-sounding told me I needed a box to stop nuisance calls - two pounds fifty a month for three years! Caller Display does it much cheaper and I don t usually answer calls from 0845- numbers. Curious this time.

This number has called me this week at least 10 times already - Minimum 2 to 3 calls per day. We ignore it now but it is an incredible nuisance.

Hung up as soon as I answered but then the same number called my mobile seconds later. Clearly working from some list which has both my landline and mobile number linked. I can t think of any such list except NHS!

I m in Scotland. I received a call from this number while I was at work...couldn t answer. I called back several times, but the line just sounds dead...three beeps. I ve had this kind of thing before from different numbers..usually a PPI-related call. I ve probably missed out on an amazing cash flow injection into my bank account, a once-in-a-lifetime sales opportunity or a fantastic holiday to the Bahamas. But for now, I ve just saved the number as Crank Call and I advise you do the same.

These Transcom a holes obviously don t even check the numbers they ve been given before calling them. Transcom left a computerised message demanding that someone should call them. I ve never given out my number, had no dealings with Transcom, and the person they were asking for has never, to my knowledge, lived here or used this number. Accident helpline nuisance call

Had two calls from this number. They hung up when I asked them to prove who they were in response to being asked for my security details. Spoke to Orange and demanded to have the calls stopped or as a loyal customer I will leave Orange. Lots of excuses but they accepted in end. I will leave if it happens again!

Will NOT stop calling me! Haven t answered yet but i ve had 10 calls in 2 days and if they ring agsin they re going to get a mouthful! After reading this i won t be trusting them. Very scary
