Claimed to be Sky Broadband Technical support, serving 3, O2, Virgin and everybody on internet. I would be disconnected if I failed to follow her HELP. Quoted that my CLSID ended in 62, as apparently lots do, and that because of illegal activity my internet would be terminated. Dragged out call for 10 minutes but did nothing, eventually she hung up on me.

Today it's 01202137087 - yet another call purporting to be from the Bournemouth area but it could be India or Japan! I have no idea what the caller would have had to say because I never pick up these calls and they never leave a message. Unknown number to me, I didn’t answer, checked the number on here, noted the comments & now BLOCKED. Another nuisance phishing scammer no doubt.
This is nothing to do with the FCA, the pension regulator should have looked at this but they tend to turn a blind eye to these scams. Lots of sceptics will have similar views but at least there is a compensation scheme for regulated screw ups of which there have been a lot.
